Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Excellent position, close walking distance to restaurants, beach and hot pools. The gentleman at reception was very helpful giving directions for places we wanted to see. We had a very enjoyable evening at Mama Mia restaurant and the hot pools. Great having adiscount for guests at the pools.
Negative: Room was a bit musty, needs airing out. A good idea would be to put an extra steel bared door on the back for security so when the room is not rented the metal door could be locked and the timber door left open for air flow throughout the room. The bedside light is fixed in one position and cannot be adjusted for reading in bed. Really needs small wall lights fixed above each side of the bed as it is hard to read whilst lying on the bed. The small kitchen and bathroom/shower were great for short stays.
Summary: Enjoyed weekend at the Mount. Memories from 58yrs ago staying at camping ground with teenage mates.
